Terms of use

1. Publisher and acceptance

CookEat AI is published by HADJADJI Mohamed, 27 rue de la Canardière, 67100 Strasbourg, France. Contact: no-reply@cookeat.info. By using the app, you accept these terms. If you are a minor, use must be authorised and supervised by your legal representative.

2. Service

CookEat AI helps create or import recipes from ingredients, text, photos, voice input, or video links. A pseudonymous profile stores preferences, favourites, and history without requiring a name, email address, or phone number.

3. No professional advice

CookEat AI does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional dietary advice. “Healthy” suggestions, diets, and exclusions are personalisation aids and do not replace a doctor, allergist, or dietitian. Seek qualified advice for allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions, or food-safety concerns.

4. Your content and third-party content

You retain rights in content you provide. You grant CookEat AI a limited, worldwide licence solely as needed to host, convert, analyse, and process that content to provide the requested feature, keep the service secure, and fix errors. This licence ends when the data is deleted, subject to technical copies and legal duties described in the privacy policy.

When importing a link or content from a social network or third-party site, you must have the necessary rights or permission and comply with that platform's terms. CookEat AI claims no ownership of third-party content and may refuse or remove a clearly unlawful import.

5. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on compatible devices. The app, code, interface, brand, and original elements remain protected. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, circumvent, or decompile them except where expressly allowed by law.

6. Subscriptions and trials

7. Acceptable use

You must not use CookEat AI to violate the law or another person's rights, import malicious or unauthorised content, disrupt the service, bypass quotas or payments, access another user's data, or automate abusive requests.

8. Availability, suspension, and third-party services

The service depends on Apple, Google, AI providers, hosting, and other technical services. It may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or incidents. We may limit or suspend abusive or dangerous use. Features may change for technical, legal, or security reasons without removing mandatory rights for a paid period.

9. Liability

You remain responsible for checking recipes, ingredients, allergens, and food-safety rules. To the extent permitted by law, CookEat AI is not responsible for damage caused exclusively by clearly incorrect information that could reasonably have been checked, third-party content, or an interruption outside its control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or mandatory consumer warranties and remedies.

10. Deletion, changes, and governing law

You may delete your profile from the app as described on the Delete data page. These terms may be updated; material changes will be communicated appropriately. They are governed by French law without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Contact us first so we can seek an amicable solution.

On iOS, these terms supplement Apple's Standard EULA. App Store or Google Play rules continue to apply to the relevant downloads and purchases.
